Grade Differences in our Products

On rare occasions in the 3D printing world, some prints don't go 100% according to plan.  Some prints may have minor blemishes on them like:

  • A small frame color smudge on the inlay color due to a bit of filament stuck to the nozzle for too long
  • A rough spot on the bottom of a print because it didn't adhere to the bed perfectly
  • A slight color tone shift where we ran out of one spool and switched to another spool of the same color but it didn't print 100% exactly the same.

While we would never sell anything that was produced with a significant problem, we feel these small blemish products are perfectly usable but do not deserve full price.

Grade A products on our listing pages are 3D prints that we can find no errors on and appear to the eyes as being perfect or nearly perfect.

Grade B products may have a small error but still look excellent in nearly all ways apart from the one small issue that occurred during printing.

If you're looking for bargain, whenever you see a Grade B option available that may be a great choice for you.  If you're considering a Grade B item feel free to send us a message and we'll be happy to send you a private picture of the exact item so that you can see the color(s) we have at this grade and what the blemish is that we feel takes it off of the Grade A level.
